Pan-Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda became a household name after doing films like Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, and Liger amongst many others. Currently basking in the release of his recently released film The Family Star, co-starring Mrunal Thakur, he has been making the headlines for his controversial statements during the promotions. According to a report by the Free Press Journal, his team has filed a police complaint with the Cyberabad Police against trolls for attacking him unnecessarily.

As per the report, the complaint also states that the trolls have been targeting the Parasuram Petla directorial with malicious intent. Sharing an update on the same, one of Vijay’s representatives took to their X handle to share a photo with the police while handing them the complaint copy. Talking about the trolling against the 34-year-old actor, they said that they were “orchestrated attacks and planned negative campaigns.” ALSO READ: OMG! He wrote in his tweet, “Cyber Crime Complaint lodged against individuals who are part of orchestrated attacks and planned negative campaigns targeting The #FamilyStar movie and actor #VijayDeverakonda. The police officials started taking action already and are tracing the fake ids and users and assured due course.” It is to be noted that Vijay has yet to release an official statement about the police complaint. On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda won over his fans with his movie Kushi. His chemistry with his co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, in the film, was lauded by the netizens. His recent film, Parasuram Petla directorial, The Family Star, alongside Mrunal Thakur released on April 5. The movie has received mixed reactions from the critics as well as the audience. He has an untitled project with Gowtam Tinnanuri in his pipeline. It is being stated that actress Rashmika Mandanna has replaced Sreeleela in the movie.
